Dear Parents,

It has come to my attention that certain behavioral issues are affecting our class as a whole. Although I am generally lenient, willing to listen and try to be patient with our students, I would draw the line when misbehavior poses a potential danger to others. I was informed that misbehavior in art class yesterday caused a pair of scissors to miraculously fly out of the window. I do not know the hows and whys of this incident but I believe we should make a point to our kids that they should also draw their line at dangerous behavior and tell an adult about it when they see such behavior.

Our class dynamic makes this group rambunctious, playful but at times too talkative for their own good. It's is a fine balance between being dry and boring to loud and out of control. As we continue with practice in listening and self-control we shall continue to keep safety as the utmost priority.

Please have a short talk with our kids at your convenience about matters of behavior as it pertains to the safety of self and others around us

Sincerely,

Arthur Tsay

Charcoal (1 cup) can be found at a supermarkets or plant store.

**Optional: little people/animals/houses (figures)

I'd like the items to be present by Wednesday next week, that way we can begin the project on Friday.

Friday, September 8, 2017

Dear Parents,

As of  Friday, September the 8th we have activated all online Pearson student accounts for class 303. Each student was given a user name and password to begin their online work. We also spent two periods today giving them a brief introduction to the updated site so they can navigate it on their own once they are home. This online component to their Reading Street curriculum is a home supplement to their school work. Five days of assignments will be given on a bi-weekly basis for each unit.

At this moment, your child should have with them a small cardboard booklet issued by Pearsonrealize.com. Inside the booklet, you may find your child’s username which is 106303____ followed by a number from 01 to 30. The password is xinmin-s1 all lowercase across the board.

I hope the instructions are clear and easy to understand, please feel free to contact me at my email or just leave a comment on this blog if there are any questions regarding this site or anything else that might be on your mind.

Thanks for your attention,

Arthur Tsay
